About the site

Hi my name is Jeremy Holmes, I am the founder
of Flashsteam.com Also the CEO of American Corn Burner.
Development began in about 1994, the goal was to create a actual
proof of concept Flash Steam Engine prototype consequently, the
worlds first Four-cycle Steam-engine. A Class of steam engine both
dependant on modern technology and a steam engine built for the
twenty first century.
As a company we have strived to accomplish this
goal and have made significant progress since 1994. It was decided
in the beginning, that the primary source of fuel for the external
combustion chamber would be whole solid corn kernels. This is how the
company name American Corn Burner came about. We are anticipating
a possible transition into a Corporation (INC) by 2011.
In order to evolve this technology new and
unique components are needed.
The first of which was the L912 model direct
injection valve. This became the Universal Injection Valve
Assembly, which is a patented invention. The preferred model for
the application is the SO8 injector valve, which is currently
under development. As the L912 injector valve was used, it taught
how to make an assembly that consumes less electrical energy,
seals at high pressures and increase the actuation speed.
Although the electromagnetic valve and the corn
burner where developed in tandem, most likely, the corn burner
will make it to market first. However this is speculation at this
point, it is ultimately an unknown. Ideally, both will hit the US
market simultaneously. The commercial license for the injection
valve technology is available at this time, since the patents are
granted. As such a status occurs for the corn burner, or patent
pending status, additional technical info will be disclosed on
that invention.
As these necessary components are secured with
respect to intellectual property, the actual complete physical
steam engine system will be displayed (PSTG45). The ideal
configuration of all interconnected systems is highly design
specific. However the idea of a four cycle steam engine will
remain in the public domain, for all to use. There will be more
about this discussed later.
As of the date of this writing 12/10/09
approximately $250,000.00 has been cumulatively spent on this
technical endeavor over a period exceeding 14 years.
New content such as pictures, videos and
schematics are being developed at this time, the new content will
supersede some of the existing content here on the website.
Some important things to consider about this
renewable energy source technology.
